How to fix the handrail to the big post?

For round shape post with round wooden parts, need to cut or grind the connection fact of the handrail into curve shape which to fix the diameter of the up wood parts of the big post.

(If the up wood part is suare shape, then not need to cut)

Drill a big holes from the bottom side of the handrail, in around diameter 36mm, with about 35mm deep. Or big enough to use the
wrench to fix the bolts when install the handrail on the king post.

drill a small hole at the connecting side, which big enough to put the M8 bolts through. Make the small hole through the big hole

drill hole and twist the wood screw inside the suitable place of the kingpost, the wood screw have thread inside which match to the M8 bolt.

Use the screw to twsit inside the wood screw thread first, and then  use ring and bolt to fix the handrail on the king post..
